Older Photo Journey - 4

Hey,

Couple of years back i was blessed to go to Cambodia. The trip was really really great. Especially for me, since i like to take pictures. It's like a dream of many people to have a chance to get a nice shot of the Angkor Wat. I took like so many pictures of Angkor Wat and i walked around snapping pictures everywhere. It was an uplifting trip. It opened my eyes.

We actually went to 2 places, Angkor Wat which is in Siam Rep and we went to the capital which is Phonm Pehn. (I think its spelt that way.)

Most my pictures were taken in Siam Rep. And this other place which we went which was a school where a lot of people were tortured and some were killed. The place was crazy, there were skulls, blood and stuff. I went in the school and 1 of its class, after a few minutes, i could stand it and i had to walk off. It was really scary. Of course i didn't take any pictures there. I couldn't even breathe properly there.

Hey,

These pictures were taken from a trip in Indonesia, I think 2 years back. It was a great trip. I went with a bunch of crazy people. All snappy happy people. And the best thing in this trip was that we got to go the volcano. Getting so close to the volcano was awesome.

And the best part is that, in the volcano, there was actually a little village. I was the only one who got to go down because the rest couldn't take the smell of sulphur. I had to go down to check out the place. It was crazy, I mean, living right next to an active volcano. Crazy!

Long before I am erm, critized, I enjoyed taking pictures, I’ve got pictures in the Angkor, Volcano in Indonesia, and some local pictures. I guess I just enjoy taking pictures as pictures is the only thing which can last forever. And I love Black and White images because it’s a true form of originality. It’s something which shows its perfection and its flaw.

Where as coloured images, it can deceive you and lie to your eye and enhances things which it wants you to see and hides things which does not want you to see.

Photo Journey

Hey,

It has been a while since i last picked my camera up. Well, i guess it high time for me to pick it up and start shooting. Guess this is something i really wanted to do for a long time and could not do it.

About 2 weeks ago, i switched my phone off and took a drive to Melaka alone. The trip was awesome. I needed some time off alone, i needed to get out of this messed up world i am in now. I did a little soul searching.

I went back to the shop which my real grandparents lived. But its no more there now, someone else took over and it looks different now. I've always been rather scared to go back Melaka. Maybe because of the flashback. But, I guess this short drive kind of made me face the ghost of my past.

While driving, i passed by paddy fields. It was awesome, as i finally got to see green paddy. It has been so long since i wanted to take a picture of the green paddy but everytime when i pass by that place, it is not green or i don't have a camera. This time around. I got it!

The view is refreshing. Can you imagine, these are the little plant which can feed many people, whom can eventually do something to make a change to this place.

This is like the road i am on now. Long and rocky.
